“Double-D” back on top at Lincoln; Eldora’s Million and Kings Royal on deck

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (July 10, 2023) – “Double-D” Danny Dietrich made it look easy on Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, not only conquering action for his fourth sprint car triumph of the year, but doing so from the outside of row five. The victory, his second of the year at the “Fabulous” Pigeon Hills staple, will act as a key momentum shift, as Dietrich plans to join the best of the best in a four-day campaign at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, beginning Wednesday, July 12.

Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, #1 Cochran Expressway, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Self Made Racing, No. 48 sprint car, will participate in sprint car racing’s biggest week beginning with the Eldora Million preliminary and Eldora Million on Wednesday and Thursday, July 12-13. Action will resume Friday, July 14, with the Knight Before the Kings Royal, followed by the $175,000-to-win Kings Royal on Saturday, July 15.

As noted, Dietrich will roll into The Big E as a four-time winner in 2023, earning triumphs at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, and Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, in addition to his Lincoln victory marches. Dietrich’s Fremont Speedway win occurred during Ohio Sprint Speedweek featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions; it was worth $10,000.

“It’s good to get another victory, and no better time to have a momentum kick than right now,” Dietrich said. “We didn’t have the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek we wanted, so to rebound in this manner is really important. “
