Dietrich with High Limit top-tens at Grandview and Port Royal; The Grove and Lincoln to end May slate

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (May 27, 2025) – It may not have been the ending Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing wanted, but on the whole, their High Limit Racing stretch through Central Pennsylvania was successful, capping their run with back-to-back top-ten appearances, the second of which in Port Royal Speedway’s $20,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial opener on Saturday, May 24. Dietrich, a former Bob Weikert Memorial champion landing the Gettysburg native $75,000, finished seventh in Saturday’s main event, commencing action from the pole position.

Just a few nights prior, Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, RV 4 Wheel Drive & Performance, No. 48 sprint car, finished eighth with High Limit at Grandview Speedway, maintaining his place within the top-ten after starting fifth. The top-tens at Grandview and Port Royal propelled his stat book to 21 top-tens on the season, 16 of which within the top-five.

High Limit Racing went on to cap their stretch through Posse Country with the $100,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial finale on Sunday, May 25. Although unable to qualify through preliminary action, Dietrich earned a spot in the evening’s main via provisional starting position; he was eventually scored 21st.

“A lot to be proud of, but not the end result we were looking for,” Dietrich said. “Regardless, I am always grateful to represent Todd Weikert and Weikert Livestock. We wanted to give them something more to be proud of, but we’ll shake this off and move forward. If we continue to miss our mark, you can bet we’ll be building a new car.”
