GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 19, 2024) – Three main events in two days resulted in a pair of top-five appearances for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, doing so at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, August 16-17. Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, No. 48 sprinter, finished fifth and third in his top-five accomplishments, highlighting all results with in impressive rally at The Grove on Friday.

A rally, indeed, Dietrich commenced action from the outside of row nine, battling ahead 13 positions in the Yellow Breeches 500 – impressive enough to secure the evening’s Hard Charger Award. “Double-D” out of Gettysburg raced on to finish third in the first of two Living Legends Dream Races at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, kick-starting action from seventh on the 25-lap starting grid.

Unfortunately, Dietrich was unable to finish the second Dream Race event; he was scored 23rd after starting fourth.

“Just gotta keep plugging away,” Dietrich expressed. “There’s a lot of money on the line again next weekend. We’d like to take it all. That would be a great segway into September, for sure.”

COMING UP NEXT:
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with starts at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, August 23-24. The events will award $8,000 and $7,300, respectively.
