GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 26, 2024) – Another start at Williams Grove Speedway resulted in another hard charging performance for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, this time rallying from the outside of row seven to score a top-five in the 42nd Annual Jack Gunn Memorial on Friday, August 23. Dietrich, who rallied from 18th to fifth just one weekend prior, concluded his Jack Gunn charge also in the fifth position, propelling his top-five tally to 29 on the season.

Although failing to match his top-five outcome from the night prior, Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Racer’s New & Used Parts Warehouse, No. 48 sprint car, did the next best thing and rallied from the back to conclude Lincoln Speedway’s $7,300 Kramer Klash in the ninth position – a sound rebound after an incident nearly ended his run.

“No excuses…just gotta keep digging,” Dietrich said. “We’re definitely better than where we’ve been finishing. Just gotta get over that hump and have some things fall our way. We have a big weekend ahead, and a lot of reasons to get up front. We owe one to our fans.”
