GETTYSBURG, Pa. (June 3, 2024) – Success continues to be the underlying theme for “Double-D” Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, not only securing three consecutive top-ten scores in their recent three-race sweep through Central Pennsylvania, but accumulating two podiums and a victory in the process, the triumph occurring in a Sunday stop at Selinsgrove Speedway on June 2.

The Selinsgrove victory, Dietrich’s sixth triumph of the season and worth $5,000, lined up to be a perfect case of redemption, as he was denied by one position just one night prior in Lincoln Speedway’s Steve Smith Tribute worth $10,119-to-win. Double-D did his best to grab a hold of the five-figure payday, but Troy Wagaman Jr. held strong, keeping Dietrich at bay even when the Gettysburg native attempted a last corner dive through turns three and four.

As noted, it was a three-for-three weekend for Dietrich in the top-ten category, opening action with a ninth-place score at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 31.

“We wanted that win at Lincoln, but getting the ‘W’ last night at Selinsgrove is a pretty solid consolation prize. It’s been a pretty incredible few weeks. We’ll work to keep this going through Ohio Sprint Speedweek,” Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, No. 48 sprint car, said. “Just hats off to the entire team, and to our fans.
