Dietrich continues May campaign with top-tens in NJ, PA, and WV; Davey Brown Tribute and Weikert Memorial next

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (May 25, 2021) – Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing logged some serious miles during their recent stretch of competition, and despite long hours, stout competitors, and multiple track configurations, “Double-D” put together an undoubted string of success, highlighted with a runner-up finish during a Yellow Breeches program at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 21.

Before making his trip to The Grove, Dietrich, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Bowhunters Superstore, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Self Made, No. 48 sprint car, kicked off his long week with a stop at Bridgeport Motorsports Park in Swedesboro, New Jersey, on Tuesday, May 18, joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for their only Garden State visit of the season. “Double-D” finished eighth with the Greatest Show On Dirt, ultimately bumping ahead two spots after starting tenth.

In addition, “Double-D” earned a sixth-place performance during West Virginia Motor Speedway’s Mountaineer Nationals on Saturday, May 22, followed by a 14th-place rally against the All Star Circuit of Champions at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana, on Sunday, May 23.

“It wasn’t a bad weekend for the most part. I think we were better than our results at a few of the races, but we’ll do what we can to find speed for next weekend. That’s the priority,” Danny Dietrich said, who owns one victory on the season. “As much as we love hitting the road and racing at some of the bigger shows in the region, it’s tough to beat racing close to home. There’s a lot of money on the line this weekend right in our own backyard, so the plan is to take full advantage of that opportunity.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2021 campaign with an All Star Circuit of Champions tripleheader in Pennsylvania Posse Country, set to invade Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway for a $49,000 potential on Friday through Sunday, May 28-30.

The weekend will kick-off with the $10,000-to-win Davey Brown Tribute at Williams Grove on Friday, followed by the two-day Weikert Memorial at the Port Royal “Speed Palace” on Saturday and Sunday. The Weikert Memorial opener will award a $10,000 payday with the weekend finale shelling out a $29,000 winner’s share.
