By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (July 7, 2020) – Danny Dietrich’s 2020 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek performance was nothing short of stellar. The nine-race campaign, contested over nine straight days, brought ‘Double-D’ a pair of victories, as well as four top-five finishes, finishing no worse than eighth during the first eight nights of action. Occurring in consecutive fashion, Dietrich’s victories were earned during action at Lincoln Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28.

Other Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek highlights for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing include a fourth-place run at Williams Grove Speedway on opening night, as well as a fifth-place performance at Grandview Speedway during night five.

Adding some extra flare to his Lincoln Speedway Speedweek victory, Dietrich earned the $9,200 Kevin Gobrecht Memorial payday over open wheel hotshot, Kyle Larson, clearing the California-native with two circuits remaining.

“It felt great to put a week like that together. I feel like we had a car that could win every night,” Danny Dietrich said, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC/Self Made/No. 48 sprint car. “I just want to thank all of the fans for coming out and supporting Pennsylvania Speedweek. It’s pretty awesome to be out on the race track and look over and see so many people packing the stands. If it wasn’t for that, stretches like Speedweek wouldn’t be possible, and we all greatly appreciate the support.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with select Ohio Sprint Speedweek starts including a doubleheader at Sharon Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12. The Lou Blaney Memorial and Justin Snyder’s Salute to the Troops programs will each award $6,000 top prizes.

Don’t forget, Danny Dietrich will be visiting Sweeney Buick GMC prior to Sharon Speedway’s Lou Blaney Memorial on Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Fans attending the appearance can expect to see his car on display, as well as the hauler and merchandise.
