Dietrich and GKR impressive in Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek campaign; Williams Grove and Lincoln on deck

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (July 8, 2024) – Danny Dietrich’s 2024 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek campaign was more than impressive, not only recording nine top-ten finishes in the nine contested events, but of those nine top-tens, six were recorded within the top-five, three of which victories. Dietrich’s Speedweek effort allowed the Gettysburg native to finish second in the final standings, missing the overall championship (behind Anthony Macri) by less than 30 markers.

Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Racer’s New & Used Parts Warehouse, No. 48 sprint car, earned his Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek triumphs in starts at Williams Grove Speedway on June 28, BAPS Motor Speedway on June 30, and Selinsgrove Speedway on July 7.

Impressive statistics, nonetheless, of Dietrich’s trio of victories, two were accomplished in wire-to-wire fashion, leading every lap of main event action at BAPS Motor Speedway, as well as Selinsgrove Speedway. Dietrich’s season win count now stands at ten.

As already mentioned, Dietrich was nine-for-nine in the top-ten column, finishing no worse than eighth – doing so twice at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on July 5-6.

“Overall, a great week for Gary Kauffman Racing. It was demanding, for sure, but my guys never let up. They busted their butts every single night and it’s their effort that allowed us to have the success that we did,” Danny Dietrich expressed. “We wanted that Speedweek championship, and we were close, just needed some better results heading into the final weekend. Regardless, it was a great week.

“A big thanks to the fans for coming out and supporting us every night,” Dietrich added. “We wouldn’t be able to do this without them and we’re pretty blessed to have the support that we do in Central Pennsylvania.”
