GETTYSBURG, Pa. (February 3, 2025) – “Double D” Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing certainly came out swinging in their 2025 debut, concluding the ASCS National Tour DIRTcar Nationals tripleheader at Volusia Speedway Park with three straight top-ten appearances, highlighting all starts with a top-five in the $12,000-to-win weekend finale on Saturday, February 1. Dietrich, the 2024 BAPS Motor Speedway and Central Pennsylvania champion, finished fifth in Saturday’s finale, improving one position after commencing action from the outside of row three.

In addition, Dietrich, ace of the Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, No. 48 sprint car, finished tenth on Thursday, January 30, and fifth on Friday, January 31, improving nine positions in Thursday’s opener from 19th on the grid.

“It’s great to be in Florida,” Danny Dietrich said. “Hats off to this entire team. We came down here with a game plan and so far things are working out. Three nights and three solid finishes is something to be proud of. We’ll get things ready and be switched over before joining the World of Outlaws on Wednesday.”

With the ASCS National Tour portion of the DIRTcar Nationals complete, Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will now turn their attention toward World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competition. Their respective DIRTcar Nationals slate, as well as their Series season, will launch Wednesday, February 5.
