GETTYSBURG, Pa. (July 24, 2023) – Two events with The Greatest Show On Dirt resulted in back-to-back Hard Charger Awards for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, advancing a grand total of 19 positions between starts at BAPS Motor Speedway on Thursday, July 20, and Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 21. Impressive enough, each of Dietrich’s hard charges ended in the top-ten, racing ahead 11 positions at BAPS to finish eighth, followed by an eight position rally to finish seventh at The Grove.

Although unable to rally for a top-ten in Williams Grove Speedway’s Summer Nationals finale on Saturday, July 22, the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, native did qualify for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, ending his efforts 22nd in the running order.

With his recent results considered, “Double-D” is now the owner of six top-ten finishes with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in 2023, two of which accomplished within the top-five.

“We’re proud of our results, but we’re always wanting more,” Dietrich, driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, #1 Cochran Expressway, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Self Made Racing, No. 48 sprint car, said. “Hats off to everyone that’s a part of this team. It’s been a wild, up and down season, but everyone has hung tough. The fans included. We appreciate their support and we couldn’t do it without them.”

ON DECK:
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with another round of competition in the Keystone State, set to visit Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, July 28-29. Saturday’s Living Legends Dream Race will feature twin 25-lap races awarding $10,000 each.
