Danny Dietrich eyes $20,000 in Lincoln’s Keystone Showdown
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
GETTYSBURG, Pa. (October 7, 2024) – Although Williams Grove Speedway’s coveted National Open is officially in the books, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series action in the Keystone State is far from over, as the Greatest Show On Dirt will continue their Posse Country takeover with an appearance at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, October 12. Dubbed the Keystone Showdown, the one-day blockbuster will award a $20,000 payday, officially capping all World of Outlaws appearances in Pennsylvania for the 2024 season.
For Danny Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, No. 48 sprint car, a battle against the Outlaws in the Pigeon Hills is certainly not a rarity, earning a pair of Lincoln victories against the national travelers in 2012, as well as 2013. In Double-D’s most recent Outlaws battle at Lincoln Speedway, the Gettysburg native finished ninth – the tail end of an impressive rally from 24th on the starting grid.
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will head to Lincoln Speedway on the coattails of another recent hard charge, this time scrambling from 24th to 14th in the $75,000-to-win National Open on Saturday, October 5.
“First of all, hats off to the team for not giving up on Saturday. They always stick it out when times are tough and we were able to put together a great charge because of that,” Dietrich expressed. “Looking forward to getting back to Lincoln. We know our way around that place so all we can do is put our notes to the test and get ourselves up front.”
COMING UP NEXT:
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with Lincoln Speedway’s World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Keystone Showdown on Saturday, October 12.
