MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (September 16, 2024) – It was a tough Tuscarora 50 outing for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, but despite a stretch of frustration, “Double-D” is right back where he is known to be, and that’s Victory Lane, scoring his 11th triumph of the season in Williams Grove Speedway’s Billy Kimmel Memorial on Friday, September 13.

Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Racer’s New & Used Parts Warehouse, No. 48 sprint car, led every lap of the non-stop, $6,000-to-win program, simultaneously increasing his Williams Grove win count to three in 2024.

Nearly doubling up on the weekend, Double-D and GKR closed out their two-race stretch in Posse Country with a runner-up finish in Lincoln Speedway’s Rack Daddies Rumble on Saturday. An all podium effort the entire evening, Dietrich opened action with the second-fastest time within his group of qualifiers, racing on to win his respective heat race.

“That was a special one to win,” Dietrich mentioned. “Didn’t have the Tuscarora weekend that we wanted. Our goal is to win, so honestly, anything less than that can be frustrating at times.”
