By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 2, 2021) – Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing put together an impressive campaign in the Keystone State during the recent weekend, capping three main events in two days with three straight top-ten finishes, two of which podium outcomes.

Awarding fans for their prior patience with Mother Nature, Port Royal Speedway’s annual Living Legends Dream Race consisted of a main event doubleheader in 2021, awarding $10,000 and $5,000, respectively, with the second feature being a make-up for the lost Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek program originally slated for July 3. Dietrich finished sixth and third, respectively, highlighting the evening double with a single spot rally from fourth to third in feature two.

Dietrich, driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Bowhunters Superstore, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Self Made, No. 48 sprint car, kicked-off the weekend, officially, with a Williams Grove Speedway appearance on Friday, July 30, finishing third just behind Lance Dewease and race winner, Matt Campbell.

“It was a pretty good weekend. They weren’t our best performances, but maintaining consistency is important and we’ll take that any day,” Dietrich expressed, the 2021 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek champion. “Hats off to the team for their hard work. We have a lot on our plate over the next two weeks. I think we’re ready to go.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2021 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with the two-day Ironman 55 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, on Friday and Saturday, August 6-7. Dubbed as one of the most grueling events on the World of Outlaws schedule, Ironman weekend will conclude with the infamous 55-lap finale awarding a $20,000 top prize; Friday’s preliminary will award an $8,000 top prize.

The two-day visit to Pevely will be flanked by the 60th running of the Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway on Wednesday through Saturday, August 11-14.
